June 19th Bad Medicine (Bon Jovi Tribute)

The only tribute band hired by Jon Bon Jovi himself, fronted by Steve Sage (who really looks like Bon Jovi) this band has played all over the country and you get to see them for FREE. This concert is brought to you by Carnival Cruise.

Opening the evening will be The Girls Band. You may have seen them on Fox 8 news in the morning. This band features TONS of great female front rock (Pat Benetar, KT Tunstall, Katrina and the Waves). This nine piece band will kick the night off in style. They sound phenominal (watch video)

 

June 26th Higher Ground
(Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute)
The nation's most authentic Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band. Spanning the band's entire catalog of hit after hit after hit. Listen to Sample

Opening the show will be hooked on tonics. Fusing rock, hip-hop, funk, and soul, the Hooked On Tonics band has been touring nationally and packing venues and colleges since their debut album "Do You Wanna" hit college radio in 2006. Listen to Samples

 

July 3rd Fins to the Left - BEACH PARTY
(Music of Jimmy Buffet)

Making their ONLY appearance this Summer. Fins to the Left will be Right Here at Rockin on the River. All you Parrot heads come out to hear a great night filled with the music of Jimmy Buffet from this one of a kind band. Bring your sunglasses and beach balls. LISTEN TO SAMPLES

 

Opening the Evening will be The Uptown Cats.

The Uptown Cats have a huge song list. They can play Funk, R&B. Disco, 70's, 80's 90's pop hits, standards and oldies etc. The Uptown Cats produce their own backing arrangements that gives them that big show band sound. Everything else - vocals, guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, and harmonica are all performed live.

July 10th Coldplayers (Cold Play Tribute)
Coldplayers, a phenomenal tribute to Coldplay, will be making their first appearance to the Rockin on the River Stage. Coming to you from Canada, this band has performed at major venues throughout the country. Listen to Samples

New age original rocker Zach will open the evening as he mesmerizes the audience with his on stage antics. His movements along with his great lyrics, guitar playing and vocals will certainly entertain.

JULY 11TH Wish You Were Here

July 17th 7 Bridges (Eagles Tribute)

Formerly known as Tequila Sunrise, this band has been written about in Rolling Stone Magazine as the Best Tribute to The Eagles in the world.

Opening the evening will be singing sensation Karri Fedor and the band Kerosene. Listen as Karri Belts out the hits from Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, and all the hot country singers topping the charts.

July 31 Almost Queen

Appearing to sold out crowds at top venues in cities from coast to coast, this New York city based band has the look and the expert quality of Queen. You won't believe your eyes and ears. Opening will be Lock 4.

August 7th Victory Highway

The band Victory Highway will take you on a journey playing classic rock hits from the 70's thru today, including a tribute to some of the great women of rock & roll. Music of
Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Heart, Zeppelin are just a few more to mention. The members of this group have shared the stage with many famous acts at one time or another. Get ready for power performances from each and every one of them!

Opening the evening will be Jersey bringing you all of the energy, hits, and music of Bruce Springsteen. If you close your eyes you'll think the Boss himself was on the stage.Come experience this celebration of Bruce Springsteen and all the great rock music that this Rock icon has produced.

August 14th Ekoostik Hookah

Please, please, listen to this group when you are reflecting on those carefree younger, college years. This is that Grateful Dead, Country Joe and The Fish, Canned Heat kinda sound but brought up to the events of today.

Opeing the evneing will be Red Sun Rising. The band was also given the award for 2008 Hard Rock Band of the Year by the Cleveland Free Times. They have shared the stage with National and Regional acts such as: Seven Mary Three, Sponge, Days of the New, Rookie of the Year, The Becoming, Red Wanting Blue and others.

August 21st Vicious Cycle
A great evening as Vicious Cycle brings us the timeless music of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Vicious Cycle members have opened for many national acts such as Lizzy Bordon, Robin Trower,ZZ Top, The Godz, Fair Weather,Tyrant,YNT,Pat Travers, and more. Listen to Samples

 

They could be the hardest working band in town. But even if that title's disputed, the Rhythm Syndicate are certainly one of the smoothest in C-town. Their show features a mixture of hard hitting Blues, Jazz, R&B as well as Classic Rock. Listen to Samples

 

August 28th Majestic

MAJESTIC is a concert tribute show that provides nothing less than a great rendition of the 1980's Journey. Their vocals are 100% live with no backing tracks or sampling used. They perform the full-range of Journey's multi-part harmonies as in Lights, Separate Ways, Who's Cryin' Now, etc., to span the entire era of Journey's repertoire.
